Going into the meeting I had a preconceived idea of what I would get from the meeting – and I have to say that I was entirely wrong.   • You’re managing a business and know that there are parts of your business you’ve been less attentive to, to date
  • You’re running a large project, have a team of people in place but no peer with whom you can reflect on the issues that arise
  • You are responsible for a change programme, have a project manager in place to “get it done” but want an independent point of view so that you can be sure that you’re “doing the right thing”
  • You are preparing for a restructuring, have the capacity to do it all in-house but want an external perspective from someone who has done it before, elsewhere
  • You are about to take on a new position with greater responsibility than before, are confident that you can do it but want the reassurance that you can pick up the telephone at anytime and ask the “burning question”
  • You are a new or existing board member and want to be able to discuss issues in confidence with someone who is independent
  • You need someone to help open your eyes, to help you think
